What is the difference between Turista and Preferente?

The main difference between these travel classes is the seat arrangement. Turista coaches have 2 by 2 seat configuration, and Preferente offers a much more comfortable set-up: 2 seats on the left and 1 on the right. Another perk of buying a Preferente ticket is included catering service, access to Renfe VIP lounges, and free car parking at the station if you plan to return in 48 hours.
